Is there a free plan?
You can score one meal free, with no account and no card, and it returns your full Insulin Fix Score. There is no free account beyond that one scan. To keep scanning it is $2.99 a week, and you can cancel any time.
What is the difference between the plans?
Your first scan is free, once, with no account, and it returns your full Insulin Fix Score. Scanner is one product on two billing lengths, weekly or monthly, and both give you unlimited scans in all four scan types plus your history, diary and notes. Coach adds everything in Scanner and then weight tracking, glucose (CGM) tracking, and the Pattern Coach that reads your own data and shows you the one change that tends to move your insulin most.
Why does the weekly plan cost more than the monthly one?
Because you are paying for the shorter commitment. $2.99 a week works out at about $12.96 a month, against $9.99 if you pay monthly. Weekly exists so you can try this for a week without committing to a month. If you already know you are staying, take the monthly one, it is cheaper.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel whenever you like and your access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. No long-term commitment.
Does “unlimited” really mean unlimited?
Effectively, yes. To keep the service fast for everyone there is a fair-use limit of up to 50 scans per day, which is far more than a normal day of meals.
