Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of The Insulin Fix Scanner (the "app"), operated by Wellingtonia Publishing LLC, 1309 Coffeen Avenue STE 1200, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. By using the app you agree to these terms.

The service

The app lets you photograph a meal and receive an Insulin Fix Score based on Karl Jacob's methodology from his book "Fix Your Insulin." You must be at least 18 to use it.

Not medical advice

The Insulin Fix Score is an educational estimate, not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It may help you reflect on food choices, but you should always consult your physician before making dietary or health changes, especially if you manage a medical condition.

Subscriptions and billing

• Free accounts include a limited number of trial scans.
• Paid plans (Scanner and Coach) are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period. We do not provide refunds for partial periods except where required by law.
• Unlimited scans are subject to fair-use limits to keep the service available to everyone (currently up to 50 scans per day). We may adjust these limits.
• We may change prices with notice; changes apply to future billing periods.

Acceptable use

Use the app for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not misuse it, attempt to bypass limits, scrape it, or upload content you have no right to share.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and notes you upload. You grant us a limited license to process them, including sending images to our AI provider, solely to provide the service to you.

Intellectual property

The app, the Insulin Fix Score methodology, and related content are owned by Wellingtonia Publishing LLC and are protected by copyright.

Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wellingtonia Publishing LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States.
